Mari Good
Yoga & Pilates
Mari’s yoga journey began at the age of six, learning to do handstands against a wall in a small donation-based yoga studio in downtown Portland, Oregon. She continues to invert herself and sometimes even her students in carefully crafted yoga practice.
Coming from a dance background, she choreographs classes that flow, allowing students the freedom to express themselves on their mats and honor their bodies. We use poses to connect with our bodies and tap into the innate, internal teacher we each have within ourselves.
Mari's first 200-hour Vinyasa yoga teacher training was in New York City in 2011. In 2013, she completed a second 200-hour advanced Hatha teacher training in Chennai, India. Upon her return from India, she began her Pilates mat and reformer certification in 2014. In 2016, she graduated from Maryland University of Integrative Health with a Master of Science in Yoga Therapy and a 500-hour yoga teacher training, and is a Certified Yoga Therapist through the International Association of Yoga Therapists (C-IAYT). She completed CoreAlign and MoTR training in 2019 and earned her comprehensive Pilates certification in 2021.
Our Teachers
Kelly Berkley
Breathwork Journey
Kelly Berkley, founder of BreathTide, is a passionate breathwork facilitator who discovered the transformative power of breath in her personal healing journey. Her initial interest was sparked by her struggle with asthma, which left her unable to take full inhalations.
She immersed herself in various breathwork methodologies and sought guidance from experts in Buteyko and Coordinated Breathing. Her curiosity led her to conscious connected circular breathing. Through this breathwork, which is also a somatic exercise, she was able to release decades-old tension and breathe freely.
She has studied breathwork intensively in Bali, Costa Rica, and the US. She received her Pranayama certification in 2019; her Body of Breath facilitator certification in 2022; and her 2.5-year, 400-hour certification in 2024. She earned her yoga teacher training certification at Bienestar Yoga in Costa Rica in 2021.
